Hi I'm new to here I'm currently studying mvq level 3 h&s care and diabetes is one of my chosen units I'm finding this website very helpful but am stuck on one question and was wondering if anyone can help

Explain the procedure of referring an individual with diabetes to others

Any help would be great xx
 
Can you explain yourself a little more, the question is too vague.
Which or who others?
 
OK. I had a routine blood test given at that time to people over 60. I was called in to see a nurse practitioner at my surgery. Type 2 diabetes diagnosis given. 3 years have passed since then and I have never seen a GP for diabetes. I see the nurse annually. Is that what you mean?
 
Hi,
Recently diagnosed by GP, he told me to make an appointment with the surgeries diabetic nurse, which I did, she then referred me for retinography scan, Xpert course and podiatry. Does this help?
