Type of diabetes
Don't have diabetes
i went to my gp with all the symptoms but my blood test came back negative for diabetes, i suggested hypoglycemia, explaining the need to eat every 2 hours and how sugar helped.
he told me to keep taking the sugar "if it works for you" he said.
having researched a bit online, it seems this is not uncommon, is there any help? or do i keep on taking the sugar?

Wow, your doctor is totally unaware of what Hypoglycaemia means and what sugar (glucose) can do to you if you are going hypo.
Unless you get the tests to give you a diagnosis, then you have no idea either.
Ask your GP to refer you to an endocrinologist.
We do have a forum called reactive Hypoglycaemia you will find it on the forum list. Have a read and ask questions.

Best wishes
