Hi,
In 42.5 years of injecting insulin. I wouldn't say bad guts is a side effect of insulin dosage.
Dodgy cross contaminated food or a bug from a contaminated surface.?
Can i ask what insulin you are prescribed & how long you have been diagnosed?
Forgot to ask. Maybe what you have recently eaten? It's source?

Newly diagnosed last week novorapid and abasaglar
Not a usual side effect as fa as I know. You could have caught a bug. I'd wait and see what happens in the next few days, unless you feel sick and depending on how bad the diarrhea is.

And to whom the principle of ahimsa is a closed book that they refuse to open because it would make life more difficult for them.
Also, if you have a bug and are hanging about in the loo a lot, test your bloods regularly. They have a horrible tendency to jump about when we have any sort of llurgy.
