For past week I can't seem to get my levels below 10 it's been as high as 14 I'm on metformin morning and night I have been stressed passed two weeks my mother sadly passed away so dont know if that would affect it. My meals have alway been erratic as get up for work 5am and can't face eating that early in morning so have my breakfast normally 2 pieces toast in my break which can be anytime between 9 and 11 depending on my shift length and I have meal about 6 with hubby when he gets home as snack when I get home between I have fruit or some low fat cheese on crackers or baked crisps. Any advice would be helpful x

Sorry about your mother, and yes stress can do that to you. Also eating toast, and low fat crackers and baked crisps, also fruit depending on what it is
It may be that you have Dawn phenomenon that does not stop until you do eat, but if waiting until 9 - 11 is the norm, then i wouldn't think it had any bearing.
Try for a slightly larger breakfast, and evening meal and try to avoid snacking in between.

I’m sorry for your loss. It’s hard to lose a parent.

Toast crackers crisps and stress would do the same to me. There’s not a great deal to do about the stress right now other than take time for self care. You can however reduce the carbs (not just sugar) you eat to reduce levels.
