Hello everyone, I have just joined the forum. Can I start off with a moan. I am on oral meds metformin, gliclazide and januvia (sitaglipin). I have been on meds for about 3 years and have suffered on and off with nausea and a lack of appetite.

To be honest, I stop taking my meds every now and again just to give myself a break from feeling ill.

My diet could be better - I average a bg of about 7 - 10

Just lately I have been having hypos in the middle of the night which leave me feeling drained

Thanks for listening

Welcome to the forum, wanderslore. If you are taking hypos in the middle of the night, try having a late night protein snack, ham, cheese, something like that to keep you from hypoing. What kind of diet are you on? It maybe that you are eating too much carbohydrate which will keep your sugars high.I know a lot of people on the forum take their meds in the middle of a meal to try and stop the nausea, have you tried that? have a good read round the forum and don't be afraid to ask questions ,they're a knowledgeable lot on here!
