Hi, it has been a while since I posted on here. I was reading about HbA1C results, well I had mine tested 3 months ago and the blood results were 73 mmol/mol, Cholesterol 4.4. After this I was put on Metformin, I am now on 4x 500g a day. Also on Simvador 40mg x1.

I have had my bloods taken again and just got a phone call to go in and see the doctor about them, which worries me because I am seeing my diabetic nurse on the 6th. I am just wondering why they would ring me up :( .

Also I have started over the past month or so getting weird foot pain at night, sometime it is very painful. I am losing weight very slowly at the moment I weigh 132kg.

According to the chart I made for myself 73 mmol/mol equates to about 9 in old money. This is nearly off my scale. I should think this is why your doctor wishes to see you.

No worries, my typing / english are not the best. It just seems odd to me, that my doctor wants to see me when I see my diabetic nurse. Even on my 1st results I did not see a doctor.

It is a cause for concern and I can understand why you mentioned it on here. He is either going to tell you that the latest result is better or worse than the first one. Can you guess which it might be since he is not waiting for you to see your nurse.

I can't see anything wrong with your typing or English.

Went to my doctor's and had word with the diabetic nurse.
No need to worry, my liver fuction was a little up from my last one (what ever that means lol) and its a routine appointment. Wish the recptionist would have said that in the first place.
