Gotta use a tissue as I take a blood anti coagulant called Xarelto, and sometimes the lancet hole just keeps on giving.

I hope those that wipe their fingers on their clothes are joking...

I don't get how the finger suckers don't leave little blood marks on everything for a while afterwards! CSI would have a field day!

This is why we can't be friends, Snapsy. Promoting negative stereotypes about the savagery of the FS gang. I can assure you, we only use the blood to mark our cheeks in traditional war patterns handed down by generations. Our linens and clothes are completely unstained.

Saliva is a coagulant - it neutralises the anti-coagulants in the blood, so bleeding should stop.
Saliva is also anti-bacterial, acting as an antiseptic.

Prick. Squeeze a bit (i know, squeezing ain't always ideal, but if i don't squeeze then the test ain't happening).
One tiny little droplet.
Applied to strip.
A quick lick.
On with my day...

There is never anything to mop up even if I had a tissue handy.

Even with a tissue I have problems stopping the flow sometimes, I am sick of wiping blood off of my mobile phone after I have put the bgl reading in to Diabetic Journal.
