just received a letter from dvla they have revoked my hgv licence as of the the 4/6/2012 now they are going after my car and
motor cycle licence, after having 4 hypos in a month, my life just gets better and better, good job my wife can drive, oh well. dvla also advised not to drive anything.

Sorry to hear that Mick :(

Is that hypos requiring assistance from another person?

I didn't think hypos that you identify and correct yourself are of interest to DVLA? I take the same as you plus sitagliptin and I have never had a hypo, sounds as if you need your meds reviewed and or dietary and exercise advice to prevent them?

Ah ok so that will be why. If you have had more than one in twelve months requiring assistance (I think) then you are likely to lose your licence. See your GP and see if you can get more help to modify your meds/diet and exercise. Lots of advice on here about lower carb intake but you need to test and be aware that if you get your levels lower you may need less or none of some of your meds.

Good luck.
