My name is Ian, I'm 46 and live in Hull. I was diagnosed with T2 in March which, along with my arthritis, high blood pressure, acid reflux and ever-increasing struggle with my weight, means I'm really enjoying being middle-aged! :D
Anyway, I look forward to exchanging info and opinions with you all on the boards.

Cheers
Ian

Hi Ian.
Welcome.

Have a good look around and ask questions when you need to. If you can help with answers that is good too.
We are all here to help each other.

This season's been a real adventure, but I don't think I've felt quite this tense about a football match for many a year. Roll on ten to six tonight because it'll be settled one way or the other, at least. :)

Hi Ian,

Welcome to the forum! :) I have recently been diagnosed/registered beginning of this month, relate to struggle with the weight and blood pressure situations for sure! Take a good look and read around the forum as lots of words of support and help/advice plus healthy recipes abound here! Joined forum recently and is a great friendly network, can assure you! :D

best wishes, Sue

The high BP and weight gain tend to come as a job lot with Type 2 and should all improve together.

An off the wall suggestion regarding the arthritis and acid reflux: try dropping wheat out of your diet *entirely* for a couple of weeks, see if that improves them.

hi ian bet you are feeling better now after the results went your way today , who would have thought newcastle and boro both going down congrats :D
