Hi . I'm danielle and currently pregnant with my 3rd child. I found out have gestational diabetes for the first time about 2-3weeks ago and am already on metformin 3 times a day after every meal :(
I've been told by my diabetes consultant that i'll probably end up on insulin before the end of my pregnancy and i'm not getting induced for another 8-9weeks. I also discovered this morning that stress sends my bloods through the roof aswell son from now on hubby will be making any calls which have the possibility of becoming stressful i think!
 
Welcome Danielle. I have just found out I have type 2, I was on the verge of GD when pregnant with my daughter but was very lucky (only had to cut out sweeties for a while). I just want to wish you all the best and let you know that someone will be along to give you more advice :D
