Hi everyone,i just inserted this forum because i wanted to ask some questions...
First of all,introducing myself...
My name is Diana,i am 31 years old,i have diabetes 1 since i was 18 years old and i ve been living with it since then..
I would like you to excuse me if i make some errors but i m Greek
The reason why i got into this forum is cause i wanted to know how diabetes 1 is being faced in England by others who probably do not have diabetes or they don t know about it.
For example is it something logical for someone to do a shot in a public view or checking his blood?
Do all of you guys feel free to do so or is this sth that make yoy feel a little or a lot uncomfortable?
I just wanted some experiences because here in Greece, these things are considered something like a shame and people like me don t feel comfortable to do so in front of the others.People used to look the people who do their shots weirdly.....
A friend of mine with diabetes 1 who used to live for many years in Britain,he told me that things are more simple...
Is this true or you feel a litlle uncomfortable too?
