Hi there, i am a newly diagnosed diabetic, and was given this site link from a good friend of mine who is also a member here!

I have just been diagnosed with diabetes, still undergoing tests to determine the correct course of medication to be issued etc, but thought i'd join here while awaiting results etc from the docs!

Hope to get some info and advice about the illness aswell as make some new friends in and around the place! :D :D
 
Hello Ice, good to see you here, there is so much info here and all great members here as well who like all of us wait for the time that there is a cure for Diabete's, but in the mean time this place is a place of help and comfort as we are all here to help as best we can. Once again hun welcome..... 8)

Thankyou for the welcomes, i am sure i am going to find this place very useful over the coming months, i have already learnt a bit more about the illness just by reading some of the other threads! :)

This place is a godsend for someone who has no idea what they have just been diagnosed with, very informative and helpful, and dont worry Synonym I am sure i will be asking loads of questions once everything sinks in properly with me! :D

What type of diabetes do you have?
Any questions please ask me or add me as a friend...Ive had the ****** for 21 years now!!!!

This is a very old thread and the last post was in Feb 2010 so you are unlikely to get an answer to your post.
