Hi - found this site when looking for some advice on double transplants.!!!
Will just introduce myself for now or i will be here all night. I am a (nearly) 39yr old gal from Portsmouth who has had diabetes now for 30 years so bit of an old hand at this. Although i dont proclaim to know everything. Things change so quickly over the years - i remember cleaning my big glass syringe with spirits and cotton wool and now i am sticking a pen into my wobbly bits. I dont feel sorry for myself and still have the life i always wanted. i am married to a wonderful man who works hard so i dont have to. I dread to think what state i would now be in had i had to work for the last 15 years. I gave up work when i was pregnant with my first child and spent 5 weeks in hospital with pre-eclampsia but gave birth to a healthy boy - now 15 and later a girl now 12. They were both very early and both born by C section but i wouldnt of had it any different. But thats where all the problems started!!!!!!!!!
