I have finally activated this account, kept getting updates but had lost activation .
I am type 2 and was diagnosed about 10 years ago, during which time i went from diet control to metformin/glycacide but, after health problems(not connected to diabetes) I am now on Insulin, which I find so much better (there may have been problems in absorbsion of metformin).
I have never seen a specialist and have found the best information around is from other diabetics..... the worst in hospital as an in-patient.
I also suffer from colitis (crohns). This is not controlled by any drugs due to allergies so I have double diatary needs to balance, again on my own. Any help and suggestions would be great and I am happy to share my experiences.
