Welcome to the forum. Do ask questions as people on here will try and help.

Hi
5.9 this morning so must have done something right yesterday, but oh! The tiredness today!
From what I'm reading its finding the right balance.
I managed so far to lose around a stone in 4 weeks but I have loads to go.
Thanks for the support to date!

Hi and welcome. Well done on losing weight and getting your levels under control

Welcome, and well done on your weight loss so far! Has the tiredness come on slowly with developing diabetes? Could it be due to something else?

Hi, thanks for your reply, I had a tendency to tiredness before being confirmed as T2 but the nurse said I've been on the edge of T2 for a very long time as they'd done some tests for some time. However in the last few weeks it does appear worse. Trying to get more exercise into routine as that my help but now have a knee issue. Feels a bit of a dark place at the moment!

I will get through this!

Welcome Arizona. Tiredness is common in diabetes.

You will get there, you're doing really well. If the tiredness doesn't improve after a while, you might want to mention it next time you see your doctor, as there are blood tests they can run. It's one of the most common symptoms there is, ie it can be due to a number of different conditions. Some of them are quite treatable, so keep an eye on it in case it's not due to diabetes.

Hi and welcome to the forum, if you have any questions dont be afraid to ask, we are a helpful bunch. Hopefully the tiredness will improve with time. I eat LCHF but if I eat too many carbs I find that I will get really tired so I'm not too sure if that may be the cause for yourself also.

Update
So far weight loss is around 1.5 stone in 12 weeks and blood glucose (fasting) is always under 7 more usually 6.5 or thereabouts. But diabetes visit today and being told that I may need to go on medication. Somehow, I don't understand!
Difficult to explain how I feel after that.

Congrats on your weight loss, well done! :)

I think it should be possible for you to get your BGs down with different food choices over the next couple of months and you will then be able to show your nurse/doctor that you don't need medication. I will tag @daisy1 again as she has good info she can post for you. Please ask if there is anything you would like help to understand. Losing weight definitely helps with diabetes but so does reducing carbs.
