hi guys Steve here, type 2 diabetic for last 2years , the last 12mths on oral medication, recently my diabetes managment not been good hence readings of 10.5, my doctor now being forced to increase my medication dramaticly, need to get back on track asap, regarding excercise and diet, i am sure i will be picking your brains from time to time regards STE. :)

Welcome. It's a bit quiet on here today. Not always like this. I'm sure oner of the mods will respond with some good advice. I'm T2 as well, about 11 years. Went through all the stages and ended up on Tabs and Byetta. Improving all the time. Once you get your head around new ideas about diet you should improve. "Ask the experts" is a good place to start

Am a newbie to, well sort of, on been T2 for a few months, well thats not strictly true been for a few years only got my A**e into gear the last few months, but since bein on Byetta its been good.

Have a look round the forum, the low carbs debate is interesting reading, it works for me!!

Hi Steve and welcome to you. Have a good browse round the various topics - you'll find plenty of information about how to get your blood sugar under control through diet.
