Hello @Flow2512. Welcome to you, and your husband. Would he be interested in joining himself, and asking his own questions?

Tall slim people can get T2 diabetes. It is not, despite media suggestions, just caused by being overweight.
It would help members to provide relevant advice if you , or your husband could provide more information. Is he on medication for his diabetes? When was he diagnosed? What is his recent HbA1c reading? What sort of food does he eat? Many of our T2 members follow a low carb way of eating. This is fine as long as they are not on any medication that can cause hypo (very low blood glucose) .
I suggest you and your husband have a read of the various forum threads, and then ask questions. our members are able to help and advise based on their own, personal experience.
