Type of diabetes
Don't have diabetes
Treatment type
I do not have diabetes
My doctor has said I don't have diabetes but has not give me an explanation for my symptoms. Sometimes a while after I eat my breakfast or dinner depending on what I eat I start feeling shaky, sweaty, dizzy and faint and the only thing that stops it is by eating something sweet, I usually carry a chocolate bar with me now just in case. Any advice would be greatly appreciated.

Welcome to the forum,
We can't diagnose you because we have no idea of your symptoms and its against forum rules.
However, I would suggest you either look in the hypoglycaemia forum or the home page on the forum. You can do that by going to the top of the page, clicking on forums. Then scrolling down to Reactive Hypoglycaemia, where you find threads on hypoglycaemia.

What you are describing could be sudden drops in your blood sugar levels and the symptoms associated with that.
But, I might be totally wrong!

Hi. You could buy a glucose meter to see if your blood sugar is too low when you have these incidents and if so, go back to the GP and give him the figures.

Does sound like "hypoglycemia" to me..
But this is not a symptom of undiagnosed diabetes. This is a syptom caused by the medication used to treat/manage the condition..

"Depending on what I eat." What food stuffs correlate with this symptom??
