Hello everyone
I have a question about Hi Lo Bread [High Protein Lo Carb] I bought in Sainsbury's (may be sold elsewhere).
Please bear in mind that I'm just starting off here and don't necessarily plan to eat this everyday and I do know there are better things to have such as eggs.
My fasting BG this morning was 7.0 (it tends to come down during the day).
I had 2 slices of the bread with cashew butter (no nasties added) and a coffee with almond milk for breakfast.
2hrs later my BG was 7.6. Is that an "acceptable" rise? Is this ok for me to eat occasionally?
Thank you.
