hi new to forum and relative new diagnosed diebetic

Hi all,
firstly i am a type 2 diebetic taking 4x metaformin a day just wondering what is the best diet to go on to control sugar levels last time i tested myself i was 16.7 a few days ago, there seems to be so much conflicting advice on various internet sites, i do excercise regular and have hectic physical job, any suggestions welcomed.

The first thing we pretty much all agree on here is testing at first test before every meal and then 2 hors after so as you can see what makes your bs go up and spike, when you see what they are avoid them. Oh by the way hi and welcome
