I just wanted to say hello to others with type 1.
Ive had type 1 diabetes for 42 years now, was diagnosed on new years day 1970 and I also have other auto immune conditions. (hypo thyroidism and extensive vitiligo).
My diabetes is very brittle, the consultants call me very insulin sensitive, and this is reflected in my blood sugar readings as I go very high following a hypo, (this is quite often) no matter how controlled the amount of locozade I have.
I wondered whether there were any other brittle diabetics out there? or whether anyone else had other auto immune conditions as well as diabetes?
I have enjoyed readings some of the posts and hope to contribute in the future.
