Hi @lemon&ginger , welcome to the forum.Hello, I thought I was doing well but suddenly my numbers went really high. I don't know if there's a way of getting them back down. I'm now taking Victoza and Metformin 2000mg.
Hoping to get to know others who've been through similar experiences here.
To my thinking, testing before and after meals is much more useful than testing fasting numbers. My fasting blood sugar varies between 7.5 and 9.2. I haven't tested after meals yet.
I used to rely on the Hba1C because they didn't give me a meter, but now they've given me one.
Isn't that exactly what you did?Do you know if there's any possibility of getting these baseline numbers down though?
I used to get numbers around 6. 5 but after a period of stress my numbers went up to 19.5.
Many people seem to find that the fasting numbers are the last to come down when dropping the carbs. My fasting blood sugar varies between 7.5 and 9.2.
Is this before or after you hurt your foot? Illness and/or injury is renowned for pushing up blood sugars.....Hello, I thought I was doing well but suddenly my numbers went really high. I don't know if there's a way of getting them back down. I'm now taking Victoza and Metformin 2000mg.
