Hi everyone.
Went to diabetic Clinic today. And Nurse stopped all the tests. Said That she could not feel Pulse in my feet at all. No sign what so ever. She has booked me in for Doppler test on 12th March. I have at night time Pins and needles in my feet off balance if stood too long. I also get Leg pains a lot at night time. I am scared as I seem to be getting worse.January My Victoza was put up from 1.2mg Daily to 1.8mg daily.

Try and calm down a little.
Over two weeks before your appointment.
Time to get a healthy diet sorted.
I'm guessing you've fallen off the wagon yes?
I think we're all guilty of that and those who never have I say .... yet.
What have you been doing that you shouldn't?
What have you not been doing that you should?
Might be worth doing the two column writing it all down bit.
Write it slowly and neatly not rushed and not on a scrappy piece of paper.
If you do it nice you'll keep hold of it.
You'll read it .... maybe add to it.
I do this getting in touch with the bad me so the good me can take charge once again.
Not sure if this sounds sensible to you just now but I'm guessing clean up time?
Don't feel bad feel determined and accept .... you're as useless and as good and capable as me ... and all the others on here.
Stick with us cos were all on the same journey in the same old leaky boat.

Hi Jack,
No Not fallen off the Waggon. I don't eat sweets cakes I am Low carb as well. Diet has not changed at all. Been on same diet for last few years. I have had a lot of stress as Husband has not been well.
My Dad Died a few days ago.
I take Meds same time every day without Missing any dose at all.
I try to make sure I keep Low card all the time.
Christmas I must admit I had 1 slice of Christmas cake and that was it. I don't push myself to eat more than I should eat.

Sorry about that little lot then!
Sorry to hear about your dad.

Sorry for your loss and to hear of your feet problems.

I just wondered if you are able to do a little gentle exercise I've heard that if you can get the blood circulating that it can help. My uncle who is in his late 80's suffered a similar issue - he was told to try not to sit down for long period of time without moving, ie to exercise his feet by rotating the ankles and doing heel/toe lifts so that the blood was made to circulate. He was also advised to do a little walking every day or to try to walk up and down the stairs a few times - he has very limited mobility but by doing a little every days things have improved some what. He also needed a change in medicine. All this was done under the care of his doctor.

I know its difficult not to worry - but until you have the test the doctor most likely wont be able to advise you any further.

Sorry to hear of your loss. Have you tried drinking more fluids to keep your body hydrated. I've noticed when I do my BG testing if I'm a little dehydrated my blood is thicker, But if I have had 2 to 3 litres of water when I do finger prick test the blood is a lot more fluid. It's just a thought. More so in the winter months when we have central heating on. This dries out the skin terribly and we lose a lot of moisture in the dry centrally heated homes.

I am Warfarin and at minute my Blood is very thin. I will try drinking more fluids as well sounds like a good idea. I have double base cream for my skin as I have Eczema and I must admit I always wondered why my skin gets dry when Central heating is on. Thank you goof to know.

In October I had my podiatry review and they couldn't find a decent pulse in my right foot. Luckily I was booked to see my GP the next day and he done a referral to a vascular surgeon. At the moment they are checking for any blockages in my arteries etc because I was suffering horrendous night cramps and my legs try to cramp even when I'm walking. The reason they think it's vascular is because of the walking cramps, the night ones are normally attributed to sugar levels, although mine are now very good. I would keep on at everyone to get checked out thoroughly, it's like everything, if it's caught early then it's fairly easy to sort.
