hi there im new.

Hi Sammy,

Nice to meet you :)

How are you getting on with your pump? Which one do you have?

I'm really warming to the idea having been adamant I didn't want one at the beginning of the year!

hey nice to meet you too.

in on the accuchek aviva combo the one with the meter and its a remote aswell

getting on well so far just trying to get my background basal rates perfect lol

Basals can be tricky on either pump or manual injections but I'm sure you'll get there soon.

The Aviva Nano looks good, I'm hoping that if I do get a pump it will be the Dana one, the idea of having a remote so you don't have to fiddle with the actual thing rally appeals to me (I'm very clumsy and would probably pull the tbes out every time! )

How long did it take you to get the pump? I have to have a continuous blood meter attached for a week in October before they'll put me forward :(

since ive been on the pump my sugars have beeennn so much better everytime i do my blood now i read the number and i feel happy inside hahah

it took me about a year maybe to get one. felt longer though

i had a cgms last year twice. that didnt help me at all. i didnt need to go on one before my pump tho. but i did try a demp pump which was filled with saline to see how i liked it.
