HI there
I am right at the beginning of my journey and suspect I may be some form of diabetes.
Also im young and slim and usually pretty fit and energetic. Lately i am very tired, thirsty and have mood swings and hypos.
My doc dismissed everyhting. I got frustrated since I felt very ill and scared to faint again. ( which was in public in a shopping centre).
So i decided to get myself those BGL testing kits with the idea to test my sugars if i feel 'funny". My rationale was that i could discover patterns and can avoid annother ambulance ride.
Well big surprise was that my levels were pretty high and not low. 2 hours after a meal its more than ten and sometimes it takes 5 hours to get down to a 6.9 or something. So that worries me a bit.
Now i got some tests to run ( GTT) to check if its all in my head or if really something is wrong!
I am looking forward to participate in the forum. It has been very helpful so far.
