I Need to get back into low carb diet again but am finding it a bit difficult due to the cold weather and wanting to eat hot foods ect at this time of year and also my blood sugar could be a bit better it's just getting back in to doing this will be easier in the summer I suppose but wanted to get back how I was last summer with weightloss and all my blood sugars below 10 it dosnt help when your husband is always buying sweet foods thinks it's great just because he's not diabetic and I am.
So what do I do?????

You can eat hot low carb food in cold weather, just keep away from the main carby culprits spuds, rice and pasta etc.
 
I make a cauliflower curry soup which is warming in cold weather. I do agree it is more difficult when your oh is eating sweets, chocolates, mince pies etc etc. Good luck
 
Sausages, or chops and stir fry of mushrooms, courgette, aubergine, sweet peppers, onion, green beans, tomato, - I just raid the fridge and chose a few ingredients.
Stews are great - I have a stock pan in the fridge and that is constantly replenished and used for casseroles.
There is always steamed cauliflower, cream cheese and then grated cheese all layered in a dish and melted in the oven or under a gentle grill.

Hi colourfull500 I am in the same boat and having let the gates open Christmas have to get back on track. I take PLJ pure lemon juice before dinner eat or drink every morning mixed with warm water and it helps cut my sweet needs a lot.
I have just purchased the low carb calender and it has come deliouse looking receipes I am doing Tomorrow and have Madera cheesecake with Quark and cream cheese cooked it tonight serves eight and had one portion this evening.
I love hot meals in winter but I avoid potatoes and have vegetables.
