I dislike being diabetic and two heavy I am 80kg and want to get down to 50 kg very soon.
Hi to all,

I have started with a cough n cold sore throat ect n phlegm,I asked doc when I went down about my operation on my shoulder if I could have cough meds ect n he said no cus I am on morphine for Pain in my shoulder slow release.

So how do I get rid of the cough ect n I feel freezing to say the least.

Ask your pharmacist about over-the-counter cough meds... if he or she says they cannot provide something suitable you might want to see your GP about it. Constant coughing gets very tiring. They might be able to prescribe a short acting asthma inhaler.

Feeling cold may be a sign of fever, and paracetamol can help... again check with your pharmacist about what to do.

Another option might be to call the NHS non emergency line on 111.

I usually find vicks vaporub on my chest and back helps reduce coughing and aches.
