Hello from Pittsburgh, PA!

My son was diagnosed with T1D in March of 2015 when he was 10 years old. Currently he is on a Tandem Diabetes T-flex pump, and is using a Dexcom G5 CGM.

Can't imagine what it's like as a parent when a child gets diagnosed with that. I have 2 toddlers and it would just wreck me. I'm happy he is on a pump and gcm!

He's an awesome little dude. Total trooper. He hates that this has happened and he's very mad about it, but he continues to be a kid... playing video games, hanging with his friends, chucking drillbits at his brother's head... :p

He has people around him that take a lot of the minutiae stuff off of his plate, which really helps.
