Hi there.

I was actually diagnosed with T2 about 4 years ago. I didn't really want to believe it and basically buried my head in the sand until now.

A few weeks ago I tested my blood glucose levels and they had gone from a regular 6.5 - 7 to readings of 17.9. I am currently on metformin and injectable vortoza. Things have worsened and I am now doing all I can to bring my levels back under control. I also realise the immense damage that T2 can do to me and it is a shame it has taken me so long to realise this.

Anyway, loads of good info on here and I look forward to being a part of the community.

Hi Ogri
I too am guilty of burying my head, but all is not lost :) you CAN get your levels under control, I can testify to that. Lots of good advice on here and always someone to answer your questions.

Hi Ogri and welcome to the forum :)

Thank you for all your posts. Today I have managed to really get my blood glucose levels down simply by being more aware of what I eat. Just got to keep it up!
