For 5 years I was told I was Type 2 then last September I saw a specialist and had a positive anti-bodies test and I was told I'm LADA. Like you I thought I must be Type 1.5 but in the letter the specialist sent to my G.P. he refers to me as a Type 1. When I queried this he said I must now look upon myself as a Type 1 and be treated as Type 1. He said LADA is just Type 1 that comes on later in life than is normal.If folk ask me now I just say I'm Type 1...it saves a lot of explaining. :lol: All the best, choccie.</blockquote>
