Hi. Don't understand why I had to re register with the forum when I did many weeks back. I just wondered if people can sign a petition in the UK for free dental treatment. I will post the link soon
 
Hi. Whilst I'm sure you are well-intentioned, I'm afraid I cannot support this. As diabetics we already take more than our fair share of the NHS budget. If you control your blood sugar sensibly well, there is no reason for gum disease to be any worse than for the non-diabetic population, so I take the hard line that people need to take some responsibility for their own health. Others may disagree and that's fine, but that's my position; sorry.
