I am a well controlled T2 ( diet and exercise ). My last 2 HbA1c tests were both 41 (down from over 50 a year ago). I’m doing LCHF and have had minimal carbs today. And yet....... just done a test at 4.30 and I’m at 8.4.......

12.30pm cheese and nuts, cup of tea (with splash of milk) at 3pm.

Did test twice more after washing hands again to see if it was a false reading. It wasn’t.......

Sometimes it just sticks it to us! It could be stress or brewing an infection.

Keep your eye on things over the couple of days, it might be a one off.
