High BG?

Hello,
My husband's diet is dreadful despite me having T2. He is invincible (!).

Except.... this morning checked his BS as he occasionally asks me to do out of interest and it was 9.9. Do we think this is high? Glucose dump aside, this was literally just after eating a bacon sandwich. On the last mouthful really.

I will check again in 2 hours and see what's happened. The only other symptom is seeing a couple of times overnight.

Answered my own question.... did it again only 20 mins after food. 7.1.

Are you sure the 9.9 was correct?

I'd be wanting to know what it was before eating and then a post level. Just to be sure, you know.

An insulin level would be a much better picture of what is going on.

I always have had high morning readings the lowest it's been this year is 7.2 but On averages it's 9 , the dawn phenomenon as they say .
