What is the problem with having a high blood/glucose reading (average about 12.4) over a long period of time?

well all the adding illnesses you will get ower time... like blindness, like loosing your nerves and feeling in feet, like somtimes brain damage, like some people getting cronic excessive sweating when just sitting , like loosing the function of your sweat glands, so you cant get rid of heat , like getting your feet or legs amputated from infections that cant be cured by hospitals, like getting heart attacks, that yo might not wake up from or regret waking up from and so on
