Hi all, I've noticed a trend... after changing my Medtronic 640G / MiniMed Mio, my sugars seem to go high (16-20) for a good few hours after, and no matter how much insulin I give via the pump, it doesn't come down for ages. I end up giving a manual injection as I have today. Any ideas?

We gave up on mios for that reason. They kept kinking and not delivering the insulin. Now use sure t which cant kink and get on fine

Hi @rendez2k same here so stopped using mios about a year ago, now using sure t's and rarely get an issue, change asap ;)

As PP said sure t is a much better infusion set. I don't get any variability when I change set now since I've been using sure-ts

The prescription and over-the-counter medications you take to treat health problems besides diabetes can monkey with blood sugar levels.
