High blood sugar and implantation

Has hanyone heard if implantation causes high blood sugar? I'm 8 days past ovulation and my blood sugars have been spiking for no reason all day.

I have just had a positive test (freaking out)!!

For the past 2 weeks my sugars have been really erratic and my insulin resistance has increased. Not sure if that is a coincidence or caused by hormones??
