Type 2 High blood sugar levels

I’m concerned about a close friend of mine who has constantly high levels and he’s unsure of where to go and I’ve said first place is Aand E dept of local hospital,am I right ?

Hi, how high are you talking, and for how long? Long term high blood sugars puts a person at risk of Diabetic Ketoacidosis (DKA) and can be fatal. Get them to do a ketone test if possible, and let us know what their blood sugar readings are? If they are high 20s early 30s, I wouldn't hesitate going to hospital, A&E.

At the very least he can ring 111 for advice
