Yesterday my sugars rocketed to 28.2. The only thing I did different was to have my first and last Coke zero. Today with continuing my usual insulin, drinking only water and 1 small piece of toast I'm still up at 18.8.
Has anyone experienced a rise like this with diet drinks and a slow return to normal. I'm type 2 insulin dependant and have been for more than 10 years. My hba1c has been dropping slowly, my diabetic nurse was happy at last check up, hba1c was 63. Any ideas what can I eat lfeel so hungry and am sacred to eat as sugars will go up again.
