Type 2 High blood sugars

My blood sugar readings are always 15 sometimes 14. I have been diabetic for 11 years and was on glizade then they decided to change to metform 600 grams been on it one month readings are the same. Have lost some weight change diet etc still the same can anyone help?

Sorry you are having difficulty. Do you test before and after eating? What sort of levels do you see then? If you don't do this, I suggest you start as it is probably your food that is causing these high levels. What is your typical diet?

Hi. Can you give us some idea of your BMI? If you have excess weight then Metformin is good to start with together with a low-carb diet. Gliclazide will only help if your pancreas is failing rather than the insulin resistance which T2s will typically have.
