I’d rather not have one at all.
I started having porridge but I'm still having huge spikes. Last 3 years my liver atl has been above 100 I know its suppose to be below <42 I'm thinking that has a factor in my diabetes control.
Porridge is grain - a high carb food - most type twos would be really struggling to deal with what you have been advised to eat.
How about full fat yogurt with berries?I was hoping my Diabetes Dietitian would have given me better option I really do. / I dont like eggs, and I dont eat bacon so i really struggle to think of breakfast options.
Your diabetes dietitian is doing you no favours. You know what they are suggesting is spiking your blood sugars. Any meat and above ground vegetables.I dont cook so I wont be able to make any recipe from that website, usually I will already have food cooked and I will just microwave it and eat. I'm look at options and see what I can do.
Try to think of breakfast as a 'proper' meal.
I regularly eat meat of some kind with mushrooms and a few other things I find in the fridge, either a bit of salad or some veges. I have to admit that these days I am so not hungry that it is a very small meal indeed. It is so nourishing though that I then go 12 hours before eating again.

I sometimes buy a Rost chicken from the market and just have some cucumbers and tomatoes with it.I'll have berries with yogurt tomorrow - & I'll see what my glucose levels are after 2 hours. Then I'll start having meat for breakfast and I'll try my best to eliminate carbohydrates from my diet.

If you you are feeling unwell you should see a doctor.I usually have chicken or tuna for dinner./ I really hope my levels are better in the morning I'm.still reading HI and I have already drank 2 litre of water - I'm going to the toilet every 20 minute or so. I was sent some links earlier so I'll look and see what I can do to bring the levels down.
