hi, you will not get an argument from us, everyone advocates testing here, its bananas being advised not to yes, you may have to self fund the strips, i believe the "sd code free" testing equipment you can get from amazon is the cheapest, but others know more about that than me

testing is the only way

Yes i totally agree with you i dont see why type 2 s should be treated any differantly to type 1 really.

well they are very different but both have the same problem, without testing, how can we know what the food has done :) very frustrating as how many thousand just accept the advice not to test :(

Hi, welcome. Ignore the advice not to test, and get yourself a meter. You justified it perfectly in your OP. A popular one (which I use) is the SD Codefree because the strips are cheapest.

Reducing carbohydrates is the key to getting blood sugars down.

Good luck and keep in touch.

Hi Thankyou to all,

I do have a meter ive had one for a long time i have the Bayer Contour Next One which is great ive just tested 20.3 which is high.

All i had for tea was brocoli n chiltern soup n 1 slice of bread i just dont see why its that high at all.

Proberly Stress as Usual.
