I would drink plenty of water and go for a walk but at this time of night you might be better going up and down the stairs - you need to burn off some of that glucose which you are unlikly to do very fast sitting or lying down.
I have just done mine and the reading is 12.3. I thought it would be a lot lower and I am unsure if this is classed as high or not. I tested about two hours after eating
I believe NICE recommends it to be below 8.5 2 hours after meal, others recommend below 7.8, I normally try for below 8 and by reducing my carb intake at meals can now sometimes get it below 6.
If you don't want to go out for a walk try going up and down the stairs a few times or jogging on the spot in the living room, (or wherever) and drink plenty of water.
