They have kept me in and Ivery started injections. Nova rapid and levemir. They said I should be able to go home Wednesday as long as blood test ok ☺☺

Glad to hear you have better pain relief. But, you know what morphine does to colonic transit....

Yep.. Slows it down chronic and awful distention!! Lots of lactulose syrup now.
Pain relief at least is constant instead of running out every 4 hours..am having soup to avoid solid foods.....
Lactulose is working though!!

Good treatment. You're on the right track now. Sorry you joined our exclusive club though!!
You'll start to feel better as your bloods stabilise downward.
Do make sure you tell DVLA and insurance once home if you drive.

Try to make sure you get a follow up with a comsultant or DSN at hospital and ask when you will get a carb counting course...
