For the last week i have had morning sugars of between 14 and 20. Despite my regular meds they havent gone down. Hoping to see gp tomorrow. Feel lousy tired and am totally fed up with life. I work long hours but always have even before diagnosis. Gp wants me to go on insulin but am worried for many reasons, such as driving, work and am needle phobic. Does anyone else ever feel like this

Hi @shellbel
I totally get where you're at -- having to start injecting is a huge step -- and not a welcome one .

I put questions like this into the mind set of myself when I was diagnosed -- I felt like **** --- insulin at least made me feel normal
ok -- I am stuck with it for life -- but with you being type 2 -- you (might) have options to come back off insulin if things progress in your favour.

try not to be worried -- getting your bloods in control is a stepping stone.
