If you've managed to get your fasting blood sugars down to the normal nondiabetic range, cld you pls tell me how u did it?

Very low carb (20g or less per day), plenty of fats and intermittent fasting - no breakfast and two or three 24 hour fasts (dinner to dinner) a week. Works for me, but I think more important than the fasting levels, this regime keeps my Post meal spikes down and my overall sugar levels on a pretty even keel. Also do a fair amount of walking - average around 15,000 steps a day.

Hi cocobee, good to see you!

Are you talking about your first thing in the morning bgl? If so, this can be a difficult one to get down. Have a look at liver dump and dawn phenomenon.

How is the new way of eating going for you?
Have you noticed a change in your other numbers?

The first few days can be really tough. I remember it very clearly. Hope you are well.

Eating less carbs healthy fats and restricting calories. Sounds easy but it was anything but. Wishing you well in your endeavour., it can be tough going but well worth the effort.
