Type 2 high hba1c

just got my blood results and my hba1c is 75. its gone up by 10 from last year. is it possible that the severe stress ive been under since last september could have caused this rise?

Stress causes elevated blood glucose, so yes, that could be the reason for the increase.

Definitely. Plus the things that come with it, lack of sleep etc wont help either.

Stress can raise blood sugar. You should get a blood glucose meter if you haven't got one already and check what you are eating is not raising blood sugar. People sometimes indulge in comfort eating if stressed, but this is often a lot of carbs. So you may have have strayed away from a low carb diet.

Yes, it certainly can. Mine has raised 2 points in 3 months due to ongoing stress with hubby being very ill.
