High potassium

One of the long term problems of Diabetes is kidney malfunction. I have just been diagnosed with very high potassium and, because of that, taken off the drug Rampril. I am interested in a low potassium diet and would be interested if anyone reading this has the same problem.

Your potassium may come back down to normal once you are off ramipril. Perhaps you won't need to reduce dietary potassium. Foods that have a lot of potassium are bananas, blackcurrants and "lo salt".
