I have just tested and my reading is 12.5, I had a very healthy home made soup for lunch and a salad, kiwi, orange, no dressing. Noticed a few high reading lately and am on Glucophage twice daily. Anyone else have this experience.
How long after end of lunch did you test? Do you know what your level was before lunch. What was in your home made soup, any potato? I know some people can not manage citrus fruit without spiking. Any orange juice with your fruit salad?
Provided that your soup didn't contain any hidden carbs, repeat the same lunch again without the orange. Maybe have a few berries instead of the orange.
If you get a similar reading, then maybe tweak the soup recipe.
Sometimes it's just a case of trial and error to find out what it is that is spiking you.
