Hi. Have type 2 and just tested blood coz been feeling bit rough. It's 23.7 what should I do?

On metformin and glicazide. Dont check blood regularly but when I have its been between 9 and 12

And you haven't eaten anything hi carb to cause the spike?

No. Done nothing different to cause this. Getting bad headache . might go lie down for bit feel bit ropey.

Having blood suagrs that high can be dangerous, especially if you're already feeling ill. Dial 111 and ask for advice.

- Acceptance of health treatment claims that are not adequately supported by evidence. I dislike it when people sell ineffective and even harmful alternative health products to exploit the desperation of people with chronic illness.
BG over 8.5 for long periods increases your risk of complications. I'd suggest you see your GP asap for a review and possible medication increase.
Today, I think you should call 111 for advice and possibly go to A&E.
