high readings

since being transferred fromMet formin to Glicazide my readings have been higher.Yesterday I was 11. This morning before breakfast I was 19. I feel this is far too high. Next week I attend a clinic to start insulin. Do i need medical advice meanwhile?

Perhaps you could tell us more about what you eat firstly.......a typical days diet perhaps ?

Gliclazide is usually a very effective drug for lowering Bg levels, especially when combined with a good Diabetic diet.
